This week I enjoyed...

I hope your week has been filled with those li'l moments that pop a smile on your face.
Here are a few of mine.

***
This playful Mad Men take by Lee Crutchley
on one of our country's mottos: "Keep Calm and Carry On". Brilliant for Brit Mad Men fans!

***

This PinUp Gal blog of classy, vintage and beautiful pin-ups. With a few humblingly fresh takes on modelling dotted around to serve as a wonderful counterpart to the plastic size zeros the media abuses our eyes with.

...And while you're at it this VintageGal blog is worth a cheeky browse for the hotchpotch collection of old-school beauty, stars, and generally just interesting piccys!

***

The teaser trailer to The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence). Let the hilarity ensue (for the trailer, not the film ... well, maybe the film too). And who does Tom Six think he is? There are far nastier films than his seriously crappy effort of a giant-human-bug gross out.

...and on a related note, I had a browse of IMDB comments about How would you make it more disgusting? Some people really need to find better things to do with their time and imaginations.

***

The latest episode of a gothic vampire web drama based in Victorian potteries town Stoke-on-Trent (where I live) in the Midlands - Blood and Bone China starring some amazing peeps including TVs Rachel Shenton

***

Reading the letters page of my regional newspaper and finding comments about one of my articles written on the work placement I'm on. This proves to me that at least 4 people have read it - the two letter writers and my grandparents.

***

My monthly browse of the latest in The Celluloid Orphanage - a facebook group dedicated to all those virtual pictures you love that don't have a real home. People like moi with celluloid orphanages uploaded the first photos years ago when a uni friend set up the group, and now its got thousands of members and pictures.

There are some real gems buried in the depths of the orphanage from the bizarre and baffling to the beautiful and brilliant, and some of my faves have already been put in a previous blog post!

Smile times like these keep life ticking over.

Have a gudden =)
