Lawn of the Living Dead? Yes please!
Horror fan having a housewarming? Well what better pressie to get! Forget special extended superduper enhanced HD Romero classics on deluxe DVDs - zombie gnomes is where it's at!
Unfortunately I can't find the genius creations you see in this particular piccy, but you can get some similar luxury lawn lurkers from across the pond, so if you fancy taking a look at their site you can adopt them for $40-50.

The Hitchcockian Shower Experience
With your zombie creatures crawling round the garden you can bring the horror to the home as well with Psycho slasher movie ambience in your bathroom from this bloody shower curtain and mat to match. After my horror movie post (part 1) you can see what a horror fan I am, but maybe this is a little too much for a year-round accompaniment to my daily bathroom beauty regime?
I'm thinking perfect for a Halloween house party though... or you could have guests over and sneak out of bed to replace your dull decor for a morning slasher surprise... Too weird? Maybe. But it's definitely a talking point.

Hermione's Time Turner
Filmified jewellery - there's not a great deal of it I'm interested in, but these shiny lil things are just something else. They're not just film props, they're actually exquisite pieces of jewellery.
I've wanted an Evenstar pendant from the Lord of the Rings films for a while - Arwen gave it to Aragorn in this particularly beautiful scene that is one of my favourites in the whole trilogy, when she gives up her immortality to choose a mortal life with him (aww) - and I spent this week looking through all the different ones. This is the one I like the most, as it has a Swarovski stone and is the cheapest I can find for the quality. Though when I say cheap, I'm talking like £70...
Hermione's Time Turner from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is epic for entirely different reasons - it's just cool, no?
...No, probably not.
But I came across this beaut on a fellow filmy classmates blog, and got to searching! This one seems to top the bill on quality vs. price, coming in at a whopping £45 in total. But just look at how intricate the stunning design is - a working hourglass with swivelly rings, plated in gold, and with the inscriptions round the side. Reviews say its quite delicate and the chain's too short, but as a novelty item there's only one thing I can say - WANT!
What are your best film-related finds?
